toxicity

There is no doubt that the world we have created for ourselves and all inhabitants, plant or animal,  is highly toxic. We see documentaries, global government summits and science reports continually reminding us of this. But what does it mean to the average person.

We are blessed with a wonderful body which continually strives to protect us from toxins and elimate them so they cause the least damaage possible and store them as safely as possible where they cannot.

Imagine  jug of water continually topped up, would you want it to be clean refreshing water or murky silt, essentially what you interact with affects you.

There are many sources of toxins some you may not even think about as being toxic to us.

This was a study on the unbilical cords of 10 newborn infants, in it they state ;

“U.S. industries manufacture and import approximately 75,000 chemicals, 3,000 of them at over a million pounds per year. Studies show that hundreds of industrial chemicals circulate in the blood of a baby in the womb, interacting in ways that are not fully understood. Many more pollutants are likely present in the womb, but test methods have yet to be developed that would allow health officials to comprehensively assess prenatal exposure to chemicals, or to ensure that these exposures are safe. From a regulatory perspective, fetal exposure to industrial chemicals is quite literally out of control……..This study and a strong body of supporting science suggest that fetal exposure to industrial chemicals is contributing to adverse health effects in the human population. This is cause for concern……..But experience also shows us that it is never too late to take action. Blood levels of PCBs and pesticides like DDT are lower today than 30 years ago when they were banned. Since these watershed actions in the 1970s, however, few industrial chemicals have been regulated to any significant degree.”   https://www.ewg.org/research/body-burden-pollution-newborns

We can all do something to reduce our exposures if we know where to look and what to do.

This is what I do, I work with you to identify where exposures are and how you can limit or eradicate them. And how to stop playing the game of chemical ‘whack a mole’ (where one chemical is slightly reformulated to get round legislation quite legitimately but is of no help to the person with a sensitivity or allergy to that thing).

With a higher than ever global rate of sensitivities and autoimmune conditions I can help people reduce their toxic load and rebuild their resiliance with an individual plan tailored specifically for that person. I take a holistic approach which looks at the whole picture, from food to chemicals, historical exposures, environmental exposures at work, home or leisure, even negative experiences can have an effect on our immune systems, as can sleep or the lack of, or quality of it.
